Officiating Pop Warner football in early 1970's, during his more than 35 years of officiating was a Division I official spending 25 years in the WAC and Mountain West. He was assigned to 11 bowl games including the Holiday Bowl.
Ken served as an officer, instructor, mentor and President of the San Diego County Football Officials Assocation and became the Dean of Football Officials in the County.
