Linda began her career as a volunteer referee for a church basketball league, 10 years later she joined the San Diego Woman's Basketball Officials Association, which merged with the San Diego Basketball Officials Assocation.
She officiates women's collegiate basketball Division I for the Big West, West Coast, PAC -10 and WAC.
Linda continues to officiate at the high school and collegiate level.
